GinzaMetrics Enterprise SEO Platform Gets a Content Marketing Boost, Expands Leadership Team

Digital marketers are showing their intense focus on using social and content marketing to drive ROI for their businesses like never before, and this morning we officially announced our upgraded platform to address your needs.

There is evidence all around showing that marketers are increasing their spend on social and content marketing. As mentioned in our official announcement, it is estimated that in 2012 the total spend on social and content marketing combined was $16B. That is only projected to grow in 2013, and after recently attending a digital marketing conference, I can attest to the fact that these were the main topics of every single session along with SEO.

At GinzaMetrics, we have doubled revenue year-over-year, which highlights the mounting interest in an earned media recommendation and analytics solution. Our platform is the only one on the market that conducts daily analysis of major search engines around the world, combined with social signal data, to deliver actionable content recommendations to our users.

Industry and company growth has afforded us the opportunity to make key additions to our leadership team. We’re happy to welcome to our team today, successful entrepreneur Sean McCollough, who joins as CTO, in charge of strategic technology and engineering. Sean brings nearly 10 years of application development experience to our team. He is a co-founder of LaunchRock, a web-based application that enables users to set up social launching pages and gather leads. Sean also served as the founder and CEO of Ping.fm, a free social networking and micro-blogging web service that enabled sharing to multiple networks. Seesmic acquired the company in 2009.

Erin Robbins O’Brien has recently been named COO, using her wealth of experience in technology marketing, strategy and business intelligence to fuel success at GinzaMetrics. She has been with the company since January.

CEO Ray Grieselhuber and Masahiro Shimizu, VP of Japan Operations, round out our seasoned and dedicated leadership team.

“The search and content marketing landscape is evolving quickly and a healthy mix of data and creativity are required if you want to thrive,” said Grieselhuber. “At GinzaMetrics, we are thrilled to be part of this revolution by helping our customers and agency partners discover the best content to create and optimize. This new release includes a number of updates based on user feedback, and it’s aimed at making the consumer experience more enjoyable.”

We’ve already made great strides this year, building on the growth experienced in 2012. We’re excited to continue providing product updates and grow our team throughout the year so we can help you achieve your business goals. As always, we welcome your feedback.
