The GinzaMetrics Story
The idea for GinzaMetrics was conceived in the boardroom of one of our clients.
Forty people were packed into the room to discuss the best way to scale SEO across the dozens of sites that this client owned. Representatives from the client’s brand managers, IT leaders, advertising agency and content production teams were all having a heated discussion about how to create high quality web pages in a scalable fashion and how to decide what keywords to target in the first place.
Existing solutions included either cheap one-off tools or overpriced, clunky tools and neither option provided this client with the information they really needed, when and where they needed it. It was in the middle of this discussion that we envisioned a powerful, yet easy-to-use web application to solve all of these problems in a way that took into account the complexities associated with large scale SEO projects.
Ginzamarkets, Inc. has received funding from Y Combinator (Summer 2010), 500startups, and several other seed stage VC firms, along with a number of prominent angel investors.
Today, GinzaMetrics is being used by agencies, large brands, e-commerce, lead generation firms, and startups. With the valuable feedback we gain from our clients, we are improving daily on a product that will transform how companies market on the web.

Ray Grieselhuber
CEO & Co-Founder
Ray has over 7 years of experience in organic search (SEO), social and paid search marketing, helping both Fortune 500 companies and startups alike drive growth, increase revenue and expand to global markets. After participating in Y Combinator in the Summer of 2010, he launched GinzaMetrics with the goal to help businesses create authentic interactions with their customers through SEO and content marketing. Since launching, GinzaMetrics has become a leading platform in the enterprise SEO market and has been featured as a top platform by both Search Engine Land and Website Magazine.

Erin Robbins O'Brien
COO
Erin brings over a decade of technology marketing, strategy and business intelligence for large enterprises, agencies and startups alike. She has lived and worked around the world, including North Carolina, San Francisco, Norway, Hong Kong and others. Erin has spoken at a variety of conferences and events, and also has published contributed articles and been quoted on nationally recognized news sites. She is also currently the President of the Social Media Club San Francisco Chapter.

VP of Sales
Jai joins GinzaMetrics with more than 15 years of experience in advertising, branding, media planning and social media strategy for Fortune 500 companies around the world. With such clients as IBM, Expedia, SAP, Alaska Airlines, National University, and American Express as well as numerous start-ups working in San Francisco, New York, London and Asia, Jai has a proven track record of driving revenue. Prior to joining GinzaMetrics, Jai was a partner at Ogilvy & Mather, head of digital strategy Expedia in London, business development in london for DoubleClick and product specialist at MediaMind, New York.

Masahiro Shimizu
VP of Japan Operations
Masahiro Shimizu is VP of Japan Operations for Ginzamarkets. Masa has valuable experience in the web marketing and web analytics industry in Tokyo, Japan with deep industry understanding of the SEO and content markets. Prior to joining GinzaMetrics, he was product manager of SaaS and web marketing at DigitalForest,K.K., in Tokyo. Masa has also served as a business consultant to Accenture in Tokyo.

The GinzaMetrics office is located in historic Mint Plaza, adjacent to the Old US Mint building, situated in a pedestrian-only space. The office is a work-life loft that includes gym facilities, rooftop terrace and lounge.
